Real Experience. Real Responsibility. Real Growth.

Mascaro’s Intern Program gives students more than a summer job. The program gives a true look into what it means to build. Our interns work side‑by‑side with project teams gaining hands on experience and shaping project outcomes. Whether you’re in the field, office or rotating between both, you’ll be part of a team that values curiosity and initiative.

We host intern events, site tours, learning sessions and opportunities to connect with leaders across the company. Many of our full‑time employees started as interns. We’re proud to continue launching the next generation of builders.

What Makes the Mascaro Intern Experience Different

We believe the best way to learn construction is to experience it. That’s why our interns are trusted with real responsibilities from day one. You’ll be paired with coaches, supported by experienced professionals and exposed to the full lifecycle of a project.

You’re Not Just Watching — You’re Contributing

You’ll leave with practical skills, industry insight, and a clearer understanding of where you want your career to go.

Who We’re Looking For

Driven. Curious. Ready to Learn.

We’re looking for students who take initiative, work well in teams and bring a positive attitude to every challenge. You'll fit right in if you’re pursuing a construction‑related degree and want real‑world experience.

Our summer internship opportunities are typically posted in the fall for the following summer. Positions are limited so students are encouraged to apply early.

See what some of our past interns have said about their experience:

“Throughout both of my internship rotations, the mentor relationships that were built really helped me. I had two different mentors, and they were both willing to answer all my questions and provide knowledgeable information which allowed me to feel confident even though I was so new to the construction industry.”
- Jayna F.

“I developed a great working relationship with my mentors. They gave me a good mix of leadership and freedom which allowed me to learn from their instruction and on my own. From that, I gained confidence to be involved and contribute to the construction process.”
- Zack B.

“Mascaro does a great job at providing interns with multiple different experiences/projects. Each project I was assigned to allowed me to learn so much in a relatively short amount of time. From bulk excavation and structural steel framing to interior renovations in an active hospital, each project had their own challenges that provided great opportunities to learn.”
- Brandon M.

“I was given as much responsibility as I could handle as early as I could handle it both in estimating and on my first job site. I was able to be candid with my mentors and managers about what I wanted to experience and what would best help me grow in the industry.”
- Corey W.
